How to play

Each day brings three small puzzles. The two grids are solvable by pure logic and each has exactly one solution, so you never need to guess. The Word Ladder always has a route of at most seven steps. Puzzles get harder through the week: Monday and Tuesday are easy, Wednesday and Thursday medium, and Friday to Sunday hard.

Binary (6×6)

Fill every cell with a sun or a moon. Tap or click a cell to cycle sun → moon → empty. With a mouse, right-click places a moon straight away (right-click a moon again to clear it). On a keyboard: 0/S for sun, 1/M for moon, arrows to move, Backspace/Delete to clear.

  1. Each row and each column has three suns and three moons.
  2. No more than two of the same symbol may sit next to each other in a row or column.
  3. No two rows are identical, and no two columns are identical.

Mini Sudoku (6×6)

Word Ladder

Turn the start word into the target word one step at a time. Type with the on-screen keyboard (or your own keyboard) and press Enter to add each word.

  1. Each step changes exactly one letter; the letters stay in place.
  2. Every step must be a real English word (no names or abbreviations) from our family-friendly dictionary.
  3. You can’t reuse a word that’s already on your ladder.

Par is the shortest route using everyday words — find a cleverer path with less common words to beat it. Any real English word counts as a step, as long as it’s family-friendly. Early in the week ladders use four-letter words with a short par; later in the week they get longer, and some weekend ladders use five-letter words.
